IT'S 'MOTOCOMPO DAY'

Honda Motocompo, Japan, 1981
The Motocompo is a tiny folding scooter sold by Honda from 1981 to 1983. The minibike was introduced as a "Trunk Bike" to fit inside compact cars like the Honda Today and the then new Honda City; the City's baggage compartment was actually developed around the 49cc two-stroke Motocompo. The handlebars, seat, and foot-pegs fold into the scooter's rectangular plastic body to present a clean, box-shaped package of 118 × 24 x 54 cm, weighing 42 kilo's.
