In this 70s clip the Dutch band Normaal plays 'live' in the studio of popmusic-show TopPop mixed with features of the two characters from this song. Althought the lyrics are about two guys speeding on a Norton and a BSA, notice that a BMW R100/7 and a Suzuki GS 500 were used for the (lowbudget) video.

...Oerend Hard, from Normaal, Holland, 1977

Dutch band Normaal started in 1974, singing slang of the east part of Holland. Proud of being called 'farmers' they adore this image. The first big hit they produced was this song, a story about two guys speeding on a BSA and a Norton, going to watch the motocross races, and have a lot of fun. 'But driving too fast and drinking too much beer, unfortunately they will come to their end...' Oerend Hard (Speeding F#cking Fast) is thé number one classic motorcycle song of Holland.

Well known Motorcycho' Norman has about 25 hobbies, but these 2 stand out; BIKES ánd MUSIC. The Strange and Terrible Saga off... are 13 fantastic uptempo motorcycle-songs from his band THE VICIOUS CYCLES, with Norman going complete crazy on his electric 'Theremin'. And I tell you, if there wasn't this piece of water between our countries, I would have been at every gig!
