Former car painter David Mann (1940 - 2004) started making 'biker culture' paintings after he went to California in the 60s. Begin 70s Mann's artwork was published in Easyriders, and was continued for many years, showing the HD choppers outlaw biker culture. His work shows mainly bikes in the open road, the metaphor for freedom.
