ROCKIN' SHOES
Long Tall Ernie & the Shakers, Put on Your Rockin' Shoes, Holland, 1972
In 1972 Dutch progressive pop band Moan played after their gigs, disguised as rockers, rock&roll covers under the name Long Tall Ernie & The Shakers. In '73 Moan stopped and The Shakers went on as a r&r band. A publicity campaign with rumours about band members, aggressive fights, with wild performances did its job. They scored success with a few singles, ending the band in '82.
