DUTCH NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY

May 1940. German troops occupy Holland and arrive here, in Amsterdam.
Pic above was made here.
Today, all Dutch victims from World War II are commemorated by two minutes of silence at 08.00 pm. The National Monument is just around the corner of this spot, first street at the right.
