It has been a while since I' ve put another tradingcard-album on MotorParade.nl, but here it is: Album #28, SUPER MOTO. It is published in 1993 by Panini United Kingdom, complete and presenting 180 stickers in 36 pages. I've also added an original wrapper with some loose cards. View the album here.

...MY OWN '1982' BMW R80G/S
My BMW R80G/S, Holland
The BMW R80G/S was manufactured from 1980 to 1987. The designation G/S is an acronym of the German words Gelände/Strasse, meaning offroad/road. The R80G/S has a 800 cc engine, fitted into an R65 frame, featuring Nikasil cylinders, kickstart, electronic ignition and a lighter flywheel. At the rear the bike has a new single-sided swingarm and drive shaft – called a monolever due to the rear suspension being provided by single shock absorber. The G/S came in two color-schemes: white tank/red(!) seat and a blue tank/black seat. This one is build in '82, with the clock's been round and still performing well.

RIDE EASY

For the film four former police bikes were used. The 1949, 1950 and 1952 Harley Davidson Hydra-Glide bikes were purchased at an auction for US$ 500. Each bike had a backup in case one of the machines failed or got wrecked accidentally. Finally one "Captain America" was demolished, while the other three bikes were stolen...
